Through this showing of art, TomatoFare® hopes the public and event participants will enjoy a whole new dimension of pleasure inspired by the heirloom tomato.

TomatoFare® has been introducing people to gardening and culinary pleasures of growing heirloom tomatoes. Through this exhibit of art, heirloom tomato lovers will have the opportunity to discover nature's intentional and untamed splendor through heirloom tomatoes as seen through the eyes of artists.

Artists are encouraged to share their interpretation of the visual beauty they see in heirloom tomatoes, from classical approaches to still life or visionary interpretations, such as dreamscapes, gardenscapes, mystery, fantasy or humor.
Anyone interested in purchasing any art, will be able to contact artists directly through a link to the artist's website.

General admission tickets for the 2009 TomatoFare® are $20 in advance; $25 on the day of the event. Tickets are available through White Heron Cellars phone (509) 797-9463 or Email at info@whiteheronwine.com
